Andrea Wright, (she/her/hers) MSc, MCSP is a musculoskeletal therapist, Somatic Educator, and integrative therapist at Integra Therapy working holistically to explore embodied, art-based creative methods that enable her clients to develop skillful tools to manage their mental and physical wellbeing. She is an accredited mental health first aider and her practice is psychologically and trauma-informed. She is the founder of Black Swan Wellness to Work Initiative; an employability project supporting Black people with mental health and chronic pain and their carers in Lambeth.

 

Current research activities: A global research collaboration exploring LGBTQIA+ physiotherapists’ experiences within the profession (publication forthcoming) and “Disrupting the status quo. What do BAME AHP’s experiences of the Consultant Practice trajectory tell us about who we are?” (Health Education England funded). She speaks and offers workshops on areas of wellbeing, equity, and inclusion with an interest in supporting BAME people deal with the impacts of discrimination.
